Act — Twelve doors

Twelve ways in.
Only three of them
are about money.

Most of what this company needs is not capital. It is a factory that can make a ball properly. A ministry that can put a programme into a city. An auditor prepared to put their name against a record. A product company that wants each item it sells to carry one.

Pick the door that describes you. Each one states what it opens with, so you know what the first exchange contains before you spend a minute on it.

Open
The intake is live and a named person reads it.
Seeking
The door is real and nobody has come through it yet. We would rather say so than imply a network we do not have.

The form

One form.
It changes with
the door.

Choose a door and the form asks only what that conversation needs — a procurement officer and a manufacturer are not owed the same questions.

The three capital doors are deliberately absent from this form. Gifts, equity and institutional grants answer to different law and different expectations, so each keeps its own intake and none of them shares a control with another.

What each door is,
in plain law.

Contributions

She Be The Change is a Delaware C-Corporation, and is not a 501(c)(3). Contributions are therefore not tax-deductible as charitable donations, and are subject to our terms. We would rather put that here than in a footnote.

Equity

Nothing on this page is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, and no funds are accepted through it. Any offering of securities, if and when made, would be made only to qualified investors through definitive offering documents. The equity door collects an expression of interest and nothing more, and it does not share a control, a form or a database table with the contribution path.

Grants

A grant to a C-Corporation carries structuring requirements for private foundations, including expenditure responsibility and, in some programmes, a fiscal sponsor. We raise those in the first conversation rather than the last.

The nine other doors

Eight of the remaining doors are marked Seeking: the intake is live, and no partnership behind it is signed, agreed or implied. Nothing on this page names a partner, customer, funder or endorser we do not have. Where a door describes something we intend rather than operate, the door itself says so.
